The day has finally come. Motor Trend chose the 2017 best driver car! Out of a list of 12 beautifully equipped machines, they narrowed it down to just one winner. Looking at speed, handling, performance, style, and brake wear, the Motor Trend team drove them all and determined the best.

You have to see what that best is!

Motor Trend Named The Best Driver’s Car Of 2017

Motor Trend creates some amazing videos. My two favorites? The “Best Driver’s Car Of…” series and the “World’s Greatest Drag Race” series

Speaking of, they just announced their Best Driver’s Car of 2017, and I totally agree with this pick! The list of cars included:

  1. Chevy Corvette Grandsport
  2. Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE
  3. Mercedes AMG GTR
  4. Mazda Miata RF
  5. Porsche 718 Cayman S
  6. Aston Martin DB11
  7. Lexus LC 500
  8. Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (tongue twister)
  9. McLaren 570 GT
  10. Porsche 911 Turbo S
  11. Nissan GT-R NISMO
  12. Ferrari 488 GTB

All 12 exquisitely equipped machines ready to take on the road, the race track, and the drivers. While some might think the Porsche’s would win, others knew deep, deep down that the final winner would be Italian.

And Italian it was! Although all of the 12 cars have amazing features, Motor Trend finally crowned the Ferrari 488 GT the winner. Why? I am sure its 3.9L twin-turbo V8 engine producing 661 HP helped…

“This Ferrari makes you your best self behind the wheel. It grabs your attention, it focuses you, and it helps you improve. The 488 GTB lets you know when you screw up and pushes and prods you to do better next time around.” The Motor Trend drivers said in their latest article.

Considering that I am a huge Ferrari fan and think they produce magnificent cars, this does not surprise me. I only wish I was there to witness this victory! Maybe next time šŸ˜‰

What do you all think? Agree or disagree with Motor Trend? Let me know!
